09 Dec Matildas set tough World Cup group stage
The Matildas will have to combat Brazil in the Women’s World Cup group stage next year.
Our Aussies will go into the tournament ranked as a top-six team, helping them to avoid top teams France, Germany, Canada and England.
They will have to get passed the Brazilians however, as well as Italy and Jamaica to get through to the next stage of the tournament.
The Women’s World Cup is set to get underway in June of 2019.
