11 Dec Report: Aaron Mooy set to miss Asian Cup
Socceroos star Aaron Mooy is almost certain to miss Australia’s Asian Cup defence in January after sustaining a knee injury, according to The Australian.
Mooy is reportedly set to miss 4-6 weeks after sustaining the medical ligament injury late in Huddersfield’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.
The report also states that Celtic midfielder Tommy Rogic is battling a knee injury of his own and could be a doubt for the tournament in the UAE.

The potential absence of Mooy would be a huge blow for Graham Arnold in his first major test since replacing Dutchman Bert van Marwijk as Socceroos coach.
Mooy wasn’t part of Ange Postecoglou’s squad that won the Asian Cup on home soil in 2015.
Australia's first game is against Jordan on January 6th.
