Honda “not satisfied” as Victory's winning run continues

Melbourne Victory star Keisuke Honda has urged his side to show more killer instinct after their 4-2 win over Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

The win over the Roar was the club's sixth in a row which had Honda netting from the spot late in the first half to notch his fifth goal of the campaign.

Despite the routine nature of the win, the Japanese playmaker was disappointed that the reigning champions failed to find the net in the second half against a 10-man Roar side.

"I am not satisfied today, luckily they had one player sent off in the first half and that’s a big advantage for us," Honda told Fox Sports post-game.

"We couldn’t score in the second half. We have to improve and prepare well for the next game.

"Mental-wise we couldn’t be greedy. We have to learn from today’s game."

Melbourne, who currently sit two points behind league leaders Perth, take on local rivals Melbourne City in the season’s second edition of the Melbourne Derby at AAMI Park on Saturday night.
