A red card to Wanderers youngster Keanu Baccus altered the complexion of the game with marquee man Ritchie De Laet equalising for the home side – his second goal of the evening – before Schenkeveld’s header sealed a famous win for Warren Joyce’s men.
The come-from-behind victory ensures City will finish the round in fourth position while the finals hopes for the struggling Wanderers are almost certainly over.
