08 May Report: Two Premier League clubs keen on Socceroos star Rogic
Socceroos star Tom Rogic is attracting interest from two Premier League clubs, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
According to the report, Southampton and Leicester City are preparing offers for the Celtic midfielder who has four years remaining on his current contract.
He could command a fee between $18 million and $37 million which would be a record fee for an Australian player, eclipsing the $23 million paid by Parma to sign Mark Bresciano in 2002.
The 26-year-old could reunite with Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers who joined the Foxes from the Scottish giants in February.
Rogic was part of Celtic’s squad that secured an eighth straight league title over the weekend, meaning he has won a total of 10 major trophies since joining the club in 2013.
