The A-League finals series is upon us with two fascinating Semi-Finals to look forward to in what should be another action-packed weekend of football.
Here’s a preview of this weekend’s A-League Semi-Finals:
Perth Glory v Adelaide United
Friday May 10th, HBF Park, 8:30pm AEST
Perth Glory and Adelaide United to battle for the first spot in this year’s A-League Grand Final.
The Premiers Plate winners will be refreshed and raring to go after an 11-day break since their final league match.
United edged out Melbourne City in extra-time last week and will look to carry that momentum when they travel west to face the Glory.
Tony Popovic’s side are unbeaten in their three matches against the Reds this season and are yet to concede a goal.

Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory
Sunday May 12th, Jubilee Stadium, 7:00pm AEST
Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory will lock horns in what should be another epic Semi-Final encounter.
The Sky Blues will be out for revenge after a heartbreaking 3-2 extra-time loss in the corresponding fixture last season.
Kevin Muscat’s men went on to win their fourth A-League championship the following week.
Both clubs had mid-week Asian Champions League games to contend with before Sunday’s Big Blue blockbuster.
Steve Corica’s men defeated the Victory 2-1 in their most recent meeting in Round 24.
