12 May WATCH | Sydney embarrass Victory to advance to A-League final
Sydney FC is into the 2019 A-League Grand Final after demolishing Melbourne Victory 6-1 tonight.
The Sky Blues were rampant in front of 12,141 fans at the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah, advancing in emphatic fashion to the decider where they will meet Perth Glory at Optus Stadium next Sunday night.
Steve Corica’s side was served by first-half goals from Aaron Calver, Alex Brosque and an own-goal from Victory’s Leigh Broxham, before Adam Le Fondre netted twice and Milos Ninkovic added a sixth.
Ola Toivonen pulled one back for the Victory but it clearly was nowhere near enough.
