26 May WATCH | Netherlands ref scores goal and lets it stand in bizarre scenes

Bizarre scenes have occurred in the Netherlands’ top amateur league, Derde Divisie, as the referee, that’s right the referee, scored a goal.

Harkemase Boys beat HSV Hoek 4-2 but one of the goals conceded by the winners came off the boot of the referee, who knocked the ball into the goal.

A cross shot from the left hit a defender then hit him.

The referee let the goal stand.
