Socceroo Craig Goodwin has botched an almost unmissable tap-in with the goal at his mercy.

Playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Wehda, Goodwin put the ball over the bar from point blank range with an open net staring him in the face.

The ex-Adelaide United star has been impressing since joining the Saudi Pro League side last July, but this miss can only be seen to be believed.

Goodwin, 28, has five assists and two goals from 18 appearances this campaign with Al-Wehda six points behind leaders Al-Nassr in fourth place.

The left-footed winger has five caps for Australia.
