23 Mar A-League joins AFL and NRL in postponing the season
The A-League has postponed its season, effective immediately.
Following the decisions made by the AFL on Sunday and the NRL on Monday, football has followed and made the call on the season.
The FFA will review their decision on April 22nd, with the goal being to reschedule games and to complete the season.
A plan to bring all the teams into New South Wales and play matches there was considered, but government travel bans made that impossible.
