15 Oct Socceroos cruise past Kuwait to seal first up win for Graham Arnold
Graham Arnold has recorded a win in his first match in charge of the Socceroos, comfortably sweeping Kuwait aside 4-0 in Kuwait City overnight.
The visitors got off to the ideal start via an own-goal from defender Khalid Mohamed Ibrahim after 12 minutes, before Greek-born striker Apostolos Giannou doubled the visitors lead with his first goal at international level.
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic added a third for the Socceroos in the 82nd minute before Awer Mabil capped off a memorable debut appearance by netting the fourth and final goal six minutes later.
