Hill flags one question mark over Victory star Honda

Fox Sports football commentator Simon Hill has questioned whether Melbourne Victory marquee signing Keisuke Honda is fully focused on performing for his new club.

Honda, 32, will juggle his commitments with the Victory while also fulfilling a role as General Manager of the Cambodian National Team as well as a business venture with American actor Will Smith.

Hill is confident the attacking midfielder will star in this season's A-League – if he's fully committed to the cause.

“He (Honda) is an absolute star,” Hill told SEN Breakfast.

“The only question against Keisuke is whether his full focus is on the A-League.

“That remains to be seen, he’s got a few other things going on in his life: business interests, he’s going to coach the Cambodian National Team, how that fits in with Melbourne Victory I don’t know.

“What I do know is I saw him at the launch yesterday in Sydney, physically he looks great.

“If his head is in it, he will kill it in the A-League, because he is a brilliant player.
