14 Nov Kewell sacked by fourth tier English club
Former Socceroos star Harry Kewell has been sacked as manager of fourth tier English club Notts County.
County currently sit precariously close to the League Two relegation zone which prompted Kewell's sacking.
The former Leeds United and Liverpool winger won just three of 14 games in charge of Notts after being appointed in late August on a three-year deal.
Kewell took to Twitter to express his disappointment following his dismissal from Meadow Lane.
Firstly I would like to thank the fans for welcoming me to the club. Everyone behind the scenes, the players and coaching staff. I would also like to thank Alan Hardy for the opportunity. As you can imagine I’m very frustrated to leave after 73 days and 14 games in charge.

I was excited by the opportunity of rebuilding a great football club with a proud history but unfortunately I was unable to see the project through. I wish the club and everyone involved all the best. 2/2
