03 Jan WATCH | Manchester City hands Liverpool first loss of the season
It was hyped as one of the biggest games of the Premier League season, and Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Liverpool this morning lived up to that billing.
The Reds had a chance to stamp their authority on the title race and push 10 points clear atop of the table, but couldn’t withstand a desperate City squad, who earned the win with Leroy Sane’s winner in the 72nd minute.
The loss was Liverpool’s first of the season.
