07 Jan Report: City set to make shock Fornaroli backflip
The A-League could be set for a major shake-up, with the Herald Sun reporting Melbourne City has backflipped on its original decision not to release disgruntled star Bruno Fornaroli to a rival A-League club.
The report states City is now eyeing off Perth Glory striker Andy Keogh, leaving a “marquee player trade” between him and Fornaroli a “real possibility”.
Melbourne coach Warren Joyce has history with Keogh, managing him at the Leeds United youth team in 2003/04.

Perth is considering offering Fornaroli, who hasn’t played in two months, a multi-year deal. The 31-year-old fell out of favour with Joyce in November, after a dispute over his skinfolds ignited the end of their relationship.
Keogh has scored seven goals this season, equal-third in the competition.
The A-League transfer window closes on January 31.
