07 Jan Underperforming Rogic needs to be better: Kosmina
Former Socceroo John Kosmina says Tomi Rogic needs to improve his consistency, as Australia seeks to keep their Asian Cup defence alive.
Kosmina has labeled Rogic’s performance in the 1-0 loss to Jordan earlier this week as “poor”, and it has since been revealed the 26-year-old has a broken bone in his hand.
However, Kosmina doesn’t think Rogic will miss any matches unless it’s “causing him a little bit of grief”, explaining how he has to increase his productivity.

“I think Tomi Rogic was poor on the night,” Kosmina told SEN Mornings.
“Now a valid question is being raised about Rogic as an international player because he does ok with his club but he hasn’t really performed consistently for the Socceroos.
“Part of playing for the national team is you got to perform over 90 minutes but you got to do it game after game and we don’t see enough of Tomi Rogic.

“I know he came into the game with an injury cloud, he didn’t play in the friendly the week before at the request of his club.
“Tomi is a confidence type player and you got little things like that in the back of his mind, he wasn’t really fully focused.”
Australia’s next Asian Cup group match is on Friday night against Palestine.
