07 Feb WATCH | Man City goes top of the table with win over Everton
Manchester City has moved to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-0 win over Everton.
Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus scored goals in added time of each half to secure the win for the Sky Blues.
The victory sees City overtake Liverpool on goal difference, however, the Reds have a game in hand.
The reigning champions could have gone seven points behind Liverpool a week ago, but managed to rise to the top of the table with the win at Goodison Park over the Reds' Merseyside rivals.

City manager Pep Guardiola has been reminding his team to be persistent despite falling behind Jurgen Klopp's side a month ago.
“The reality is we could have been, one month ago, 10 points behind when we played Liverpool,” he said.
“A few days ago we could have been seven points behind.
“Now we are top of the league.
“The lesson is never give up. That is a lesson for all athletes.
“Try to win the games, because life can change immediately.”
Liverpool get the chance to regain top spot against Bournemouth this weekend before they take on arch enemy Manchester United on February 25.
Current leaders City next face fourth-placed Chelsea on Monday morning (AEDT) in a crunch clash at Etihad Stadium.
