28 Feb Honda inspires Victory to share of derby spoils
Keisuke Honda was at his creative best in Melbourne Victory’s 1-1 draw against rivals Melbourne City last Saturday night.
In his first start in two months, Honda played a crucial role in 10-man Victory’s equalising goal just after half-time at Marvel Stadium.
The Japanese superstar’s perfectly weighted pass was latched on to by Kosta Barbarouses, who squeezed the ball past City goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic at his near post.
