Manchester City scraped past Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor overnight to return to the top of the Premier League once again.

Pep Guardiola’s men overcome a determined Clarets outfit thanks to a scrappy Sergio Aguero goal on 64 minutes that was confirmed via goal-line technology.

Since losing 2-1 to Newcastle in January the defending champions have gone on to win 12 straight league games.

The result saw City go one point clear of Liverpool with two games remaining in what has been a gripping title race.

Next up for the Sky Blues is a home match against Leicester City on Monday May 6, while the Reds are away at Newcastle on Saturday May 5.
