WATCH | More football drama as Derby stun Leeds

Derby County has booked a spot in the Championship play-off final following a dramatic victory over Leeds United at Elland Road.

It was a firecracker affair in West Yorkshire which saw a player from each side sent off and six goals scored as Derby won 4-2 to salute 4-3 on aggregate following a first leg defeat at home.

The Rams, managed by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, trailed Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites 1-0 on the day when Stuart Dallas opened the scoring in the 24th minute to give his side a 2-0 overall lead.

But Derby staged a remarkable comeback with three goals in less than 15 minutes from first-half sub Jack Marriott (with his first touch), as well as Mason Mount and Harry Wilson.

Dallas levelled for Leeds at 3-3 on aggregate just after the hour-mark before Marriott produced an 85th-minute winner for the Rams, sparking jubilant scenes.

Derby will now meet Aston Villa in the play-off decider at Wembley on Tuesday, May 28 at 12am (AEST).

The winner gains the third Premier League promotion spot following Norwich City and Sheffield United who finished top two in the Championship.
