21 May Honda to leave Melbourne Victory
Melbourne Victory has confirmed that marquee signing Keisuke Honda will depart after one season with the club.
The Victory’s final Asian Champions League group stage game against Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Wednesday night will be Honda's final game for the A-League powerhouse.
Captain Carl Valeri and Head Coach Kevin Muscat will also appear for the final time in what will be an emotional night at AAMI Park.
Honda, 32, has contributed eight goals and seven assists in 23 appearances despite missing nine games due to a hamstring injury.

“I leave now for my next challenge but will never forgot my time at Victory.
“I wish the club good luck in the future as they pursue success.”
The Japanese superstar joined the Victory on a one-year contract last August.
