03 Jul Report: European club readying $16 million bid for Socceroo Rogic

Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is a man in demand.

According to Scottish publication The Herald, Russian outfit Zenit Saint Petersburg are preparing a £9 million (A$16 million) bid for the Socceroos star.

The 26-year-old Hoop attracted the interest of Zenit when the two clubs met in the Europa League last season.

It is understood Celtic has slapped a £15 million (A$27 million) price tag on the Australian international who still has four years remaining on his current contract.

Southampton and Leicester City are also rumoured to be interested in luring him to the Premier League next season.

Rogic has won four league titles, four Scottish Cups and three League Cups since joining Celtic from A-League side Central Coast Mariners in 2013.
