30 Aug 2019/20 Champions League group stage draw confirmed
The 2019/20 Champions League group stage draw was announced overnight with holders Liverpool handed a somewhat favourable group.
Last season’s champions will meet Serie A club Napoli, Austria’s Salzburg and Belgian side Genk in Group E as they gun for a seventh European crown.
Runners up Tottenham Hotspur landed in Group B alongside German champions Bayern Munich, Greek side Olympiakos and Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade.
The group of death sees European heavyweights Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan all pitted in Group F.
