21 Oct Kerr nominated for 2019 Women’s Ballon d'Or
Matildas star Sam Kerr is one of 20 players shortlisted for the 2019 Women’s Ballon d'Or.
Kerr is the only Australian – both male and female – to be nominated for this year’s award.
The 26-year-old striker finished fifth in the inaugural Women’s Ballon d'Or in 2018.
USA pair Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe and last year’s winner Ada Hegerberg feature among the nominees.
