$37k for being late for training! Lampard’s brutal Chelsea fine list leaked

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is certainly laying down the law in his first season at the helm at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard was a consummate professional during his playing days with the Blues, and he is looking for similar attention to detail from his young squad.

A photo of fines Chelsea’s first team players face if they fall out of line has been leaked online – and some of the financial punishments are staggering.

Any player late for training will be hit with a £20,000 ($37k) fine while failing to report an injury or illness prior to their day off or 90 minutes before training will be £10,000 ($18.8k) lighter.

All fines must be paid within 14 days or they will be doubled, as documented and signed by Lampard himself.

Chelsea sit third in the Premier League and have exceeded expectations under Lampard following their transfer ban.
