20 Dec WATCH | Wild brawl erupts in Argentina after “worst tackle of the year”
A horror two-footed tackle has sparked a wild brawl in an Argentinian football match.
Described as the “worst tackle of the year” by ESPN Argentina, Social Atletico Television player Lucas Torres dived in studs up on an opponent in the latter stages of the Lujan Football League Final.
Torres’ side were trailing 4-1 to La Union de Jaguel when he committed the appalling challenge which triggered an all-in brawl with players from both clubs lashing out with their fists and feet.
The fight forced the match to be called off with Torres not surprisingly shown a straight red card by the referee.
Verbals were exchanged between the two clubs as the players left the pitch following the fracas.
In 2016, Torres was hit with a 24-day ban for assaulting a referee.
