Aaron Mooy scored his first goal for Brighton overnight, helping the side to a 2-0 home win against Bournemouth.
Already leading after Iranian Alireza Jahanbakhsh’s first goal for the club, Mooy doubled his side’s lead after a fantastic first touch before firing past Aaron Ramsdale to seal Brighton’s first home win since November.

Sky Sports commentator Alan Smith heaped praise on the 29-year-old, drawing comparisons between his maiden Brighton goal and former Arsenal player Dennis Bergkamp.
“What a way to settle it,” Sky Sports commentator Alan Smith said of Mooy’s goal.
“Shades of Dennis Bergkamp here, the way he took it on his chest and chipped it in.
“A quite brilliant goal from a really talented player. Great awareness, and look at that finish.
“Bergkamp would’ve been proud.”
